I’m a Hmong American woman. A Somatic Relational Play Facilitator. A creative, a storyteller, intuitive, and a deeply devoted lover of dramas, music, mangas, food, hiking, life adventures, and yummy desserts!!! PLUS! I LOVE ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFETS!! I grew up drawn to everything — belonging to many things — but not fully defined by any one of them. And for a long time, I thought that meant something was wrong with me.
I related so deeply to the villainess arc — the woman in anime and C-dramas who is dismissed, misunderstood, who carries on anyway. That woman felt like truth. She felt like me. And she felt like so many of the women I love.
So I created I Remember You. I believe every woman deserves to open her mailbox and feel — even for one small moment — that someone made something just for her. That she hasn’t been forgotten. That the little girl version of her, the one who played without apology and loved without armor? She is still here. And she is still so worth remembering.
